Head Shot Heaven

Need a professional head shot? We are offering a special opportunity to get your head shot taken by the fabulous Emmely Pierre Louis on September 10th from 6:30 to 8:30 while enjoying white wine spritzers and socializing with other enlightened entrepreneurs in a beautiful pre-war location courtesy of the lovely Stacy Leibowitz.

Head shots usually run $200 for a session- this is a great chance for you to have the same product without the costly investment. Emmely is an amazing photographer who memorialized our one year anniversary party.

Details: 2 shots can be chosen from a Web page contact sheet from the shoot tat you'll be able to view on Friday, September 11th. The selected two images will be lightly retouched and color corrected before being sent electronically to the client by early the following week. In preparation, if the clients should spend some time in front of a mirror to decide which angles, and smiles they prefer for their photos. It helps make the sitter more comfortable/confident when the shoot occurs. Sitters should pick clothing that does not distract from their faces such as loud or busy prints.
A little about Emmely: I have always loved taking photos. I began studying photography at Pratt Continuing Education and then attended the School of Visual Arts, where I received an MFA in Photo, Video and Related Media. My photography has been exhibited throughout Brooklyn and in Chelsea, and published in the Haitian Times, Souls, a journal from Columbia University, and on essence.com. The Society of Enlightened Entrepreneurs is truly an enlightened organization: 10% of this season’s charity will go to the AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION.

 

SPRING 2008

Please join us in a celebration of our female entrepreneurial achievements!  The evening will be a wonderful night of connecting with other like-minded women.  We’ll toast our successes and share with fabulous femmes in a fantastic setting provided by a celestial woman of sorts, Mother Nature as Prime View’s veranda overlooks the Long Island Sound and Port Washington’s Mill Pond.  We have intentionally timed our event to coincide with sunset over the water – so our toasts will be glorious, indeed. We will set the energy of the evening with a gathering and then there will be a round of introductions.  We’ll be dining upon sumptuous wines paired with yummy appetizers ranging from pancetta baked clams to gorgonzola meatball sliders.  Special desserts and coffee also will be served. As this is an evening of sharing, please bring a token gift for each attendee (we’ll get you the final count days prior to the event).  And if you can’t attend, we are happy to include your gift in the mix.  Anything from a coupon for your services to a cute mirror is appreciated. As you may know, we have tried our best to include only one woman per specialty and that means we have a waiting list!  We are asking that you RSVP by March 31st to ensure maximum attendance.  Thank you very much.  We look forward to seeing you!
